Get you more engagement on social media

Social media is meant to be collaborative and engaging for everyone online.

If you’ve been posting and not getting much traction with your followers, here are three quick tips to increase engagement:

1. Ask a question
Asking questions on your posts are bound to get at least a few responses. Posts like “What do you think of ___?” or “Choose: x or y” are great to get quick responses. Even better if you specifically ask someone to “leave your comment below” or “respond to my email with your best ___.”

2. Ask for contribution
When followers contribute to your brand’s social media presence, they are more likely to share with their friends and ask them to contribute too. How could your culinary brand benefit if you asked followers to “post a picture of your next dinner, and tag us using the hashtag #FoodPrepMasters”?

3. Offer an incentive
Who doesn’t like to win a prize for taking some action? Creating a contest and offering a prize is a surefire way to get engagement! Imagine your dance school saying “send us a video of your ballet twirl and you could win a free month of classes!”

Respond to my email and let me know what your brand or business is. If you don’t have any of these three tips in place already, I’ll send you a few quick ideas that you could implement today!
